The Birthday PoemI heard it was your birthdayThe Birthday Poem by ~WildHeartLovesAll
And I just came to say
I wish you many birthday wishes
And many scrumtious birthday dishes
That your whole day is filled with joy
And many fun different toys
And as you age another year
I wish you a whole year of cheer
I wish you an entire day of fun
And when that birthday is done
I hope there's more to follow
Even if growing old is a pill to swallow
On this day that you've been waiting for
I hope there is adventures in store
So make a wish close your eyes
Blow out the candles, get ready for a sweet surprise
I hope that your day was pleasant
And now I present to you the presents
Tear the paper, squeal in delight

But then I'm not really stuck in a ditch
My ups and my downs
My smiles and frowns
My good and bad
My happy and sad

I'm always on the guard
A new strength blossomed at rebirth
Time to me has now no worth
Stuck in forever in eternal youth
I enjoy this power, that is the truth
I am dangerous and I like that
I can tread upon people as I tread upon mats
Speed that is as fast as lightning
I bare my teeth, that must truly be frightening
I enjoy this moment of power
But soon, not even within the hour
A thirst burns my throat dry
It rakes my tongue, I could almost cry
I pick up a smell so delicious and sw
